CHARLIE - looking for a new home

Charlie is 11 years old (April 2009) litter trained and neutered.  He still very spritely and loves to go out to play and hunt.  If you have your own land, he will come on walks with you and he adores cuddles, strokes and a nice warm lap in front of the TV.   He loves people in general and is good with my 8 year old girl and 12 & 16 year old boys.  He loves to go for a short walk in the country and also loves to hunt.  Charlie loves to play with a small screwed up paper ball which is his favourite.  He is very good on his cat scratching post and knows only to use his post. He also knows to sleep on a fleece blanket on the sofa or the bed and he is very good at knowing where to go and rest.  Charlie hates dogs completely and has no trust in them.  He has never fought back and will run instigating chase with a dog which is bad. He doesn't like very young kids that will grab him and drag him round he is okay with older children who know better though.  I would say that he isn't great with other cats but he has lived with a 2.5 year old black cat for 2 years and although they fought they tolerated each other as they had to, ultimately no other  cats but he may be okay after time if the owner was understanding and prepared to try.  Charlie does not like going in the car will travel in a crate reluctantly.
